Rachel’s Journey ministry of New Braunfels offers one day retreats for healing after abortion. We invite you to come and experience the mercy, forgiveness and healing love of God in the company of others who understand what you are going through. Retreats are open to all women, men, couples/anyone hurting because of abortion.
Hope.
You are not defined by your abortion.
You are a loved child of God.
“I will give you a new heart and place a new spirit within you taking from your bodies your stony hearts and giving you natural hearts.” Ezekiel 36:26
Forgiveness.
God forgives all sins. Accept God’s mercy and grace to forgive ourselves and others.
“I have brushed away your offenses like a cloud, your sin like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you.” Isaiah 44:22
Healing.
Recognize & release anger and guilt. Reconcile with your children. Find comfort in knowing that your children are in the arms of our Lord.
“So whoever is in Christ is a new creation: the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come.” 2 Cor 5:17
Rachel mourns her children, she refuses to be consoled because her children are no more. Thus says the Lord. “Cease your cries of mourning. Wipe the tears from your eyes. The sorrow you have shown shall have its rewards. There is hope for your future.”
